2. Can I find information about vehicle history on your site?
Each of our vehicle information pages has a link to a Vehicle History Report by Auto Check . This summary title report is provided by Experian and includes a summary of a car's title history.
3. What can I expect to pay for taxes, title, tags, and document processing fees?
The exact amount you can expect to pay for state-required tax, title, and tags will vary depending upon (1) the state in which you live, (2) the county where you will register your vehicle, (3) the weight of your vehicle, (4) whether you will have a trade-in vehicle, and (5) the type of license plate you select. Amounts charged as Document Processing Fees are not state-required and will vary.
4. How do I decide between buying and leasing?
There are advantages to both, but no difference in maintenance or operating costs. Generally, leases are better for those who drive up to 15,000 miles each year, take excellent care of their vehicles and want a new car every two to four years. You only have to pay for that portion of the car's life that you use. Buying is ideal if you drive a lot of miles, put your vehicle to heavy or tough use, and want to build equity.
5. How much is my trade-in worth?
It depends on a number of factors including the vehicle model, year and condition. You can also get a general idea of your car's worth by checking independent car value guides. However, we always recommend a visit to our dealership to determine the final trade-in value.
6. Can I trade in my vehicle if I still owe money on my loan?
Yes. With the wide range of lenders we use, from Jim Click's own bank, to your local credit union to national banks, there is virtually no vehicle that cannot be traded in.
7. How much of a down payment is required?
The larger your initial down payment is, the less you will have to finance. With a lower amount to finance, your total interest charges will also be less. Everyone's personal situation is different, knowing how much you can afford to pay each month and planning accordingly is always advisable. Also, do not forget to figure in taxes and other expenses when doing your planning.
8. Do I need to schedule an appointment for my vehicle to be serviced?
Yes, an appointment is required for your vehicle to be serviced. This can be done either by contacting the dealership by phone or you can also schedule online.
